The idea of Fast Fusion has been in the works for many years. I can remember when I was in sixth grade and our class took a field trip to a local shopping mall. We saw how the mall operated as a whole, and I remember at that point that someday I wanted to own a business. As I grew up, my goals and education were aimed towards becoming an entrepreneur. In high school and college, my elective classes were all business and computer related. My first real focus was to become an accountant, and that lasted for about 3 years.

During my college years, I bought an Amway business kit and started selling soap and cleaning supplies to family and friends (under the name United Enterprises), and I also decided I wanted to be a race car driver after racing for about a year (age 20). Unfortunately, my dream building was larger than my production. As I started racing, I thought of various ways to make money, while being able to race. I ended up taking various jobs in a bank, collections firm, tuxedo rental company and finally planting my feet at KLS Racing.

KLS Racing provided an opportunity to bring the fundamentals that I had learned in school together in one package. Starting out in the office to help KLS Racing on a part time basis, quickly turned into a full time job. It also allowed me an inside track to the kart racing industry. It is much easier to focus on a task (of being a race car driver) when you are surrounded by people who are committed to similar goals. Monday through Friday, I took care of the office duties, and on the weekends, I was racing. It took about two years for all the pieces to come together. I learned the hard way that race prep is essential to any successful racing program, and proper planning is essential in any type of business.

Over the past few years, I have spent my time working as a tuner. The part I love about tuning is it is a constant challenge. I have successfully tuned for both local and national drivers. From my tuning experiences, it dawned upon me that I love being at the track and I love helping people achieve their goals. So this led to my newest venture with Fast Fusion Kart Services.

In February 2005, I started a kart rental program that has attracted newcomers to the sport I love. I have also incorporated an Arrive-and-Drive program, kart storage, and preparation services.

Racing provided fundamental lessons that I will always carry with me for the rest of my life. #1 - When a pass is available, take it. #2 - Prep your kart at home, not at the track. I'm going to take the lessons learned and apply it to my business. Since this site will focus on the needs of my customers, if you have any suggestions to make this site more useful to you, feel free to let me know.

Thank you for your time.
